When this occurs, it is assumed that these events occurred at the same time unless given reason otherwise. In the case of The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker Season 1, two potential settings are possible. In The Suicide Squad, an August 2020 date is visible during the events of the movie. However, James Gunn said that the movie is set in the year it released, which would place it in 2021. Peacemaker Season 1 places itself months after the end of The Suicide Squad. In The Iron Pot, which is set two years following The Suicide Squad, Clayface is shown playing Mortal Kombat 1, which did not release until September 19, 2023, meaning Creature Commandos Season 1 must be set after then. Using the date from The Suicide Squad and the year from Gunn's quote, it can be taken that The Suicide Squad occurred in August 2021 in the DCEU, with Peacemaker Season 1 occurring in January 2022, allowing Creature Commandos Season 1 to take place in Late 2023 after the release of Mortal Kombat 1.
