The Amethyst Knight Armor is the protective clothing worn by the Amethyst Knights as their main uniform, representing their identity as official guards of the Pokolistan Royal Family.

History[]

Pokolistan Royal Guard[]

The Amethyst Knights were recognizable for their armors, serving as their official uniform as guards of the Pokolistan Royal Family.[1] While Pokolistan is known for being a country that rejects and sees progress as corrupt, keeping itself backwards, the armors worn by the Knights seemed to be really advanced, giving the guards the capability of flying and shooting powerful blasts from the retractable cannons on their gauntlets in order to defend the country from invasions or metahuman threats.[2]

Alternate Universe Versions[]

Pokolistani Conquest[]

Many Amethyst Knights were present in Circe's premonition of a future where Ilana Rostovic conquered the world, with the Princess herself wearing an unique version of the armor. Under the command of Gorilla Grodd, the Knights would execute thousands of people, using their blaster cannons to wipe out the rest of humanity and further destroying the world in their march.[3]

Capabilities[]

The Bride about to open fire

The Bride of Frankenstein wearing an Amethyst Knight's gauntlets.

  • Blaster Cannons: The armor's gauntlets hide retractable blaster cannons used to shoot enemies. They're powerful enough to destroy another Knight's armor completely. The gauntlets are removable and can be used to their full capability with no need of the rest of the armor.
  • Flight: The armor includes a jetpack in its back, granting the bearer the ability to fly.
  • Enhanced Durability: The armor can resist damage to a certaint extent. When the Bride of Frankenstein grabbed an Amethyst Knight and pushed his head againts a building while flying, the helmet was durable enough to resist the attack. Despite its imposing shape, the armor doesn't seem fully bulletproof, as numerous guards were shot through it by the Sons of Themyscira, despite them carrying normal guns.
