The Bride of Frankenstein is created

Seeking to explore the small moment between life and death, Victor Frankenstein used the corpses of various people to create a newly living being which he named Eric Frankenstein. By 1831, Eric had grown lonely and begun to demand that Victor build a bride for him, wanting to experience. Despite his hesitation, Victor agreed and created a woman who was simply named Bride of Frankenstein. As soon as the Bride awakened, she was nervous and calmed by Victor's presence. Eric revealed himself and tried to give her flowers, but Eric's appearance caused the Bride to panic. Victor began teaching the Bride how to speak, although Eric was frustrated by how long it was taking. Victor said it would be good for the Bride to be able to talk, although Eric expressed his beliefs that words would get in the way of feelings.

Eric came to view the Bride as a failure due to her not loving him, and at once point attempted to touch the Bride. The Bride refused to allow Eric to touch her, hiding behind Victor, who tried to defend her. However, Eric ended up pinning the Bride against the wall, demanding that they love each other. Eric tried to help the Bride, who retaliated by nearly suffocating Victor and demanding that Victor had failed with the Bride. Eric eventually left, and the Bride comforted Victor. As the Bride progressed, she and Victor developed romantic feelings for each other. Victor gifted the Bride a Tourmaline Necklace, and the two eventually had sex. However, they were unaware that Eric had arrived and began to cry as he saw Victor and the Bride together.[1]

"My bride. After all these years, I've found you."
Eric Frankenstein[src]

Eric Frankenstein awoke while Frankenstein Manor was on fire and began his pursuit of the Bride of Frankenstein, hoping to convince the Bride to love him. This led to a decades-long chase in which the Bride would establish herself with a life until Frankenstein would arrive, forcing her to again flee.[1] The Bride was eventually arrested and brought to Belle Reve Correctional Center while Frankenstein established his own life, asking a woman to live across the road from Frankenstein Manor and inform him if the Bride returned. The Bride was forcibly recruited to Task Force M and sent on a mission to Pokolistan, where they resided in Poko Castle. The Bride and Nina Mazursky left the Castle in the night in hopes of finding the Tourmaline Necklace from the manor. The woman saw the Bride returned and called Frankenstein to tell him, pleasing Frankenstein.[2]

The assassination and the events leading up to it greatly affected the Bride, who was unable to even walk around Frankenstein Manor without being reminded of the pain she experienced. She thought about Frankenstein's death as she was pushed off the balcony of the manor by Circe. She was unable to bring herself to talk about the experience with Mazursky, despite Mazursky approaching her with compassion.[1]
