- "Your friendly neighboorhood Vigilante won't let you become a puppet of the Controller! Convert this, robo-fucks!"
- ―Vigilante[src]
The Attack on Evergreen Docks was an attack performed by Adrian Chase to wipe out what he believed was the Controller's army.
Background[]
- "I just wanted to give back all the cars my crew stole. I just wanted to write my screenplay. Why can't I retire from crime in this fucking town?"
- ―Scarapelli[src]
After cementing his alliance with Withers, Scarapelli sought to give away the vehicles his gang stole as he wanted to leave crime in Evergreen and devote himself to writing screenplays, and he along with Withers announced that they would provide vehicles for free at the Evergreen Docks shipping and storage facility, assigning Cannon and Saber to attend to people who visited them.

Adrian Chase searches for clues to track down Peacemaker
Adrian Chase visited the Evergreen Public Library to search for clues to track down Peacemaker, wondering where the Controller might be hiding his robot army, he came to the assumption that they might be posing as Converticons. Chase then overheard the hobos talking about a shed where they were giving away free vehicles, leading him to the conclusion that the Converticons were tricking the hobos into taking their bodies and using their forms to infiltrate among them. In an attempt to convince them to give them the address, Chase began to moan publicly expressing his masturbation desires, much to the disgust of the people around him, but successfully obtaining the direction to the shed.[1]
Attack[]

Vigilante arrives at Evergreen Docks
- "Controller! I'm killing your army in the womb! Give me back Peacemaker!"
- ―Vigilante[src]
Adrian Chase arrived with a rocket launcher and stormed the facility to wipe out what he believed was the Controller's army, where upon arriving he answered affirmatively to a homeless woman who asked Saber if the vehicle donation was a catch. Vigilante entered the shed and threatened them with his bazooka to cease their criminal activities, and once the homeless people left, Chase fired his bazooka at a truck believing that this would free the facility from the Controller's manipulation, catching Scarapelli and Withers off guard.

Withers believed Scarapelli had tricked her with the “scorched earth” plan, while Scarapelli was distraught at not being able to leave his criminal career. Vigilante then took a machine gun at his disposal and began firing wildly at the vehicles, believing that they were the Controller's army and that this way he could force him to return Peacemaker to him, forcing Cannon and Saber to intervene. When Vigilante vowed to kill all Evergreen criminals to find the Controller, Saber shot him with his revolver, and they both ran to attack him, however Chase hit them in the face with the machine gun, knocking them to the ground.

Vigilante threatened them with the revolver, causing Cannon to pretend to fall under his control, only to take him by surprise by stabbing him with his sai, showing off to Saber, but not realizing that Vigilante managed to escape, surprising Saber that the stab didn't kill him.[1]
Aftermath[]

Adrian Chase believes he is turning into a robot
- "The Scarapelli and Withers crews have never liked each other, but I can't figure what they'd get by blowing up a car show with missiles. This is fucked up..."
- ―Police Officer[src]
Running with the sai, Adrian Chase was surprised that the stabbing had not killed him, rushing urgently to Fennel Fields to disinfect himself. Chase took the matter seriously and realized that the army could not be hiding in a truck, even managing to remove the sai while running to the sink; and after surmising that the Controller had to be more sophisticated to defeat Peacemaker, Chase deduced that the Controller hid his army in a place Smith wouldn't suspect, panicking that the infection had turned him into a robot,[1] and to prove prove he wasn't a machine, Chase put a charger up his butt, and later slept on the floor. Upon being found by Taylor, he alerted his co-workers who woke him up.

The Evergreen Police Department investigates Evergreen Docks for clues
That night, the Evergreen Police Department and local firefighters responded to the facility, surprised to discover all of Evergreen’s stolen cars from the past year gathered in one place, which were riddled with bullet holes, leading officers to suspect a mob-related shootout. One officer noted the ongoing feud between the Withers and Scarapelli gangs but couldn’t fathom what either group would gain by launching missiles. Unbeknownst to them, members of both gangs were watching from afar.[2]
