"This is not just a place for you to recuperate, Eric. It is your home."
Bogdana to Eric Frankenstein[src]

Bogdana's House is a small cottage located in Pokolistan, formerly inhabited by Bogdana and her dog Ivan. Eric Frankenstein temporarily resided there as she nursed him to full health.

History[]

Bogdana lived with her dog Ivan in a house in the countryside. One morning in 1831, Bogdana and Ivan found a creature unconscious on the riverbank. Bogdana smelled the monster and noticed signs of life, so she ordered Ivan to bring it to the cabin. At night, while it slept, Bogdana began treating the beast's wounds with healing ointments, until it woke up clutching its arm. Bogdana told her it was burned, and that she was treating it. Over time, Eric Frankenstein began to heal using bandages and a crutch.

One morning, Frankenstein left the cabin to see Bogdana pulling crops, with her rejoicing that his mobility was improving. Frankenstein then picked an apple from the tree to eat, learning that Bogdana was blind, and with her teaching him that he didn't need to be psychic to find beauty. One day, Frankenstein went hunting for a turkey with a shotgun, accompanied by Ivan. Upon returning to the barn with Bogdana, Frankenstein sat in a tree and thanked Bogdana for healing him and giving him a place to recover, but Bogdana told him he was home, stating that she and Ivan had become happier since Frankenstein entered their lives.

Despite being loved by Bogdana and Ivan, Eric Frankenstein wanted to return to his Bride, believing their sole purpose was to be together. One night, Frankenstein locked the cabin door and left Ivan outside to talk to Bogdana alone about his leaving, which made her cry and beg him not to. Bogdana tried to convince him to stay since Bride did not love him, but Frankenstein refused to listen and killed her by hitting her over the head with a pot. At dawn, Frankenstein left the cabin and whistled for Ivan to come with him, and Ivan followed him into the woods.[1]
