Hiding Bride and Nina Mazursky[]
While trying to evade the authorities, Bride and Nina Mazursky took refuge in the brothel, much to the surprise of Madam Gyurov and her employees. Bride immediately threatened Gyurov to keep quiet, an action that dismayed Nina, who tried to defuse the tension. After persuading the visiting Amethyst Knights to leave, Gyurov urged her two unexpected guests to depart as well. However, Bride insisted on staying until it was safe to leave.
As they waited, Gyurov observed Bride's disdain for her employees' profession and remarked on the irony of how, instead of using her body for pleasure, the zombie used it as a weapon to serve the government's interests. Angered by the comment, Bride threatened Gyurov with her gun, but the confrontation was interrupted by the arrival of two drunk and aggressive customers who took one of the girls upstairs.
Moments later, screams echoed through the place. Gyurov rushed upstairs and found the customer assaulting the girl, revealing his metahuman powers. When Gyurov ordered him to leave, he shoved her aside, prompting Bride and Nina to intervene. In the ensuing brawl, Bride successfully killed the customer and his brother.
Before leaving the brothel, the French worker they had rescued thanked them for saving her life. Bride and Nina then departed to continue their mission.[1]
