Candyland, also known as Impception,[1] Candy World, or Imp World,[2] is a dimension entirely composed of sweets that is inhabited by Imps.
History[]
At the age of twelve, Chris Smith explored the Quantum Unfolding Chamber and stepped through the Candyland portal. Smith tried to grab one of the giant peppermint sticks but was instead attacked by more than thirty magical Imps, being chased back into his own universe, where the Imps were ultimately defeated by the Top Trio.[3]
In his quest to find a dimension of the multiverse where he could imprison metahumans, Rick Flag, Sr., along with some of Lex Luthor's employees, sent A.R.G.U.S. to explore the doors through the Quantum Unfolding Chamber. During an investigation, agents Kline, Langston Fleury, and Emilia Harcourt entered Candyland, discovering what appeared to be a world made entirely of sweets, complete with sugarcane trees and a magical, colorful environment. However, the agents were quickly attacked by a horde of Imps who cornered them and tried to kill them. When the other agents attempted to save their comrades, the Imps rushed at them to close the interdimensional door and consume them. Nevertheless, the agents inside the QUC managed to rescue their comrades and close the door, killing the Imps that pursued them, and watched in horror as Kline was mutilated.[4]
