After being created by Doctor Victor Frankenstein to serve as the wife of his creation, Eric Frankenstein, the Bride of Frankenstein was reluctant to be his love interest as she developed a deep fear of him, however, she developed romantic feelings for Victor, who raised her for months before the two formed an affair, which was discovered by Frankenstein, who, out of jealousy, murdered his creator in revenge, causing the Bride to confront and presumably kill him in the fire that broke down at Frankenstein Manor. The Bride quickly fled the burning mansion, breaking down in tears due to the trauma of her lover's death, and fled Pokolistan.

Concurrently, Frankenstein was able to awaken during the fire,[1] managing to survive to escape and falling into a stream, which dragged him to a field, where he was found by Bogdana and Ivan, who took pity on his painful state, so the old woman took Frankenstein to her home and helped him recover, forming a close friendship over the next few days. However, Frankenstein set out to chase the Bride due to his belief that the two were destined to be together, causing Bogdana to attempt to warn him that the Bride didn't love him, however, Frankenstein ignored her pleas and assassinated her himself to begin his chase, accompanied by Ivan.[2]

At some point during the chase, the Bride of Frankenstein lost sight of Eric Frankenstein and was incarcerated at Belle Reve Correctional Center. Due to the disappearance of his love interest, Frankenstein tasked an old woman of Pokolistan with keeping him informed of the Bride's return.[1] In 2023, the Bride was recruited by A.R.G.U.S. Director Amanda Waller to be part of the Creature Commandos on a mission to Pokolistan. While at Poko Castle, the Bride, accompanied by Nina Mazursky, headed to Frankenstein Manor to retrieve her Tourmaline Necklace. Away from the mansion, the old woman discovered the Bride's presence and called Frankenstein, who was on a yacht with prostitutes, to inform him of the Bride's return, causing him to shed tears of joy and resume his chase.[3]
