In a flashback, G.I. Robot participates to his first mission with the Easy Company, led by Sergeant Rock, in occupied Europe, during World War II. During an ambush, the automaton successfully kills all of the Nazis troops surrounding his group. They later share beers at a bar, cheering for their robot companion. Upon arriving at Frankenstein Manor, Rick Flag Sr. and the Commandos are surprised to find the Bride and Nina but no sign of Circe or the Sons of Themyscira. After reprimanding his teammates, Flag realizes that the enemy used this as a distraction to launch an attack against the princess.

Robot expresses his wish to meet with his companions again and to kill Nazis with them. Decades later, in the 1990s, G.I. Robot is retrieved in a Hub City shop by war artefacts collector Sam Fitzgibbon, who welcomes him at his home and builds a friendship with him.
