Corto Maltese is a small island where Task Force X were sent to destroy Project Starfish.

Project Starfish[]
Send to destroy Project Starfish, Task Force X, led by Colonel Rick Flag Jr.[1] and consisting of prisoners such as Peacemaker[2] and Weasel, were sent to Corto Maltese to carry out the mission.[1] During the mission, Peacemaker killed Flag,[2] who would be declared a hero upon completion of the mission.[1]
