Staff are a group of users who are trustworthy and experienced enough to run certain moderation tools.
- Thread Mods: These are users who are entrusted with tools to manage wiki conversations, contributing primarily in the discussion area.
- Content Mods: These are editors who are entrusted with tools to maintain order on the wiki, patrolling content and reversing vandalism.
- Admins: These are editors who are entrusted with the tools of Content Moderator, being able to edit the wiki interface.
Staff members are not allowed to break policies, and their opinions have the exact same value to other editors. If the editor community considers that a staff member should be demoted, whether due to inactivity or for another reason, a vote will be called and they will be demoted if the majority agrees.
Promotion Requirements[]
DC Extended Universe Wiki staff members are able to automatically access to the same positions if they have interest and choose to continue contributing to this wiki in the same manner, as long as they have been active in the months prior to the split.
Thread Moderator[]
- The user has actively participated in the discussion area in the last 3 months.
- The user has a good reputation, demonstrating an understanding of the discussion rules, and treating users kindly.
- Have joined the Discord server
- The user is willing to:
- Delete and warn users about comments that violate the guidelines.
- Optionally, those users chosen to moderate the Discord server are given the possibility of serving as a thread moderator, and vice versa.
If you meet the requirements, you can apply for the promotion.
Content Moderator[]
The user has actively contributed, adding information in both quantity and quality, in the past 2 months.- Due to the recentness of the wiki split and no DCU media being released yet to fill, this is currently not required.
- The user has an understanding of the wiki's policies.
- The user is respectful and treats other users with kindness, and received support from the editors community.
- The user is willing to:
- Help monitor recent changes, undoing or fixing incorrect edits and mentoring new good faith users.
- Contribute adding information in both quantity and quality
- Answer any wiki questions that may be asked on their wall
- Delete according to the Article Creation Policy and the wiki community choice.
- Rename according to the Naming Policy and the wiki community choice.
- Protect according to the Blocking/Protection Policy.
- Have joined the Discord server

Administrator[]
- The user is a content moderator
User has edited and contributed, adding both quantity and quality of information, in the past 6 months.- Due to the recentness of the wiki split and no DCU media being released yet to fill, this is currently not required.
- Meet and keep the same requirements as content moderators
- The user is respectful and treats other users with kindness, and received support from the editors community.
- User is willing to:
- Fulfill the same responsibilities as content moderators
- Block and protect according to the Blocking/Protection Policy.

If you have met the requirements, you are elegible to become a moderator, in order to apply, you must contact an administrator, explaining why you are seeking this position, being clear and consice, and they will call the editor community on Discord to vote, exposing your reasons. If +70% of elegible voters support the application, you will be promoted.
