A Dimensional Portal is a gate which allowed objects and beings to travel through a tear between the universal fabrics. Lex Luthor set up many of these around Earth, allowing him to access his Pocket Universe. One of these portals was set up in the Boravian President Vasil Ghurkos' office.

Sydney Happersen and Lex Luthor replicated the Big Bang using a Megacollider which created a Pocket Universe which Luthor could use to travel around the world.^[2] Happersen then created several portals which allowed for access to this pocket universe,^[1] although LuthorCorp was never able to fully stabilize theirs without them collapsing after several minutes open.^[3] Luthor had several portals built and installed in various locations, including at LuthorCorp Tower inside the communications hub, one at Fort Kramer, and one in Vasil Ghurkos' office at the Royal Palace of Boravia.^[2]

In 2025, Hammer of Boravia used a Dimensional Portal operated at Fort Kramer to discretely return to LuthorCorp Tower so that people would not know he was actually Ultraman, a creation of Lex Luthor's, and that the threats the Hammer delivered were not real. Luthor later released harmful information about Superman, leading to a meeting between himself and Vasil Ghurkos in the Pocket Universe, to which both Luthor and Ghurkos traveled via their dimensional portals.^[2]

Arrest of Superman[]

Superman turned himself in as a result of the information campaign and was brought to Fort Kramer to be arrested in the Pocket Universe. He was shoved into the dimensional portal and placed directly into a cell, where he was then taken away by Luthor and Mister Handsome.

The next day, Michael Holt discovered the portal and took Lois Lane to Fort Kramer, fighting the Raptors and techs present to get access to the portal. Holt's T-Spheres scanned the portal, and upon realizing how dangerous the situation was, hacked into the portal it to open it and save Superman. Holt and Lane stood inside the portal and used the T-Spheres to search for Superman. However, the portal started to destabilize and collapse around them, causing them to need to crouch. Holt eventually guided Superman, along with Rex Mason, Joey Mason, and Krypto the Superdog, out of the portal moments before it collapsed.^[2]

Battle of Metropolis[]

Lex Luthor was enraged by Superman's escape, leading him to reactivate the collapsed portal against the advice from Sydney Happersen. This caused a dimensional rift to open under the portal, which made Michael Holt panic as he struggled to close it as the rift threatened to destroy Earth. Holt realized he could not without a passkey, so he called on Superman for help. Happersen eventually got frustrated and resolved to shut the rift down as LuthorCorp opened their own portal into the Pocket Universe. However, Superman interrupted Luthor's trip into the portal, defeating Luthor and allowing Holt to shut the rift down by deactivating the portal.^[2]

Attempted Recreation[]

Although Lex Luthor was arrested,^[2] Rick Flag, Sr. understood the idea of using another dimension as a prison and attempted to recreate the portal so they could establish their own prison.^[4] Dimensional rifts like the ones created by the portal were deemed A.R.G.U.S.'s top priority^[5] while the organization attempted to recreate dimensional travel on their own. They attempted to use a Recursive Spatial Looping method with their Oscillating Graviton Field Generator, but were unable to do so safely.^[6] Sydney Happersen himself was eventually brought in as an expert when they found a new means of dimensional travel in the Quantum Unfolding Chamber.^[3]
