Officer Durwitz is a corrections officer at the Evergreen Corrections Center.

In June 2025, Durwitz brought a list of inmate Chris Smith's visitors to him in Smith's cell. Smith denied, which Durwitz questioned out of curiousity since inmates generally did not decline visitors. Smith told him it was because he was the angel of death, for which Durwitz mocked him as he left the cell.

Later, Smith was bailed out, and Durwitz went to Smith's cell to release him. Smith asked who paid his bail, and Durwitz revealed it was Leota Adebayo, although he strugged with her name. Smith tried to refuse and asked him to give the money back, but Durwitz told Smith it does not work like that and released him anyway.^[1]
