Ambush on Easy Company[]
During World War II, the Easy Company, led by Sgt. Rock, was among the Allied Forces deployed by the Americans to combat Nazi Germany in occupied European countries. One night, the unit cautiously navigated through a dense forest, accompanied by G.I. Robot on his first mission with the group. Sensing something was wrong, Sgt. Rock called on Little Sure Shot, stationed on a nearby hill, to scout the area. From his vantage point, the soldier was horrified to discover a large number of Nazi forces silently surrounding them.
Alerted to the danger, Sgt. Rock ordered an immediate withdrawal just as the Nazis opened fire. Taking cover behind trees, the members of Easy Company fought valiantly to hold their ground. Amid the chaos, G.I. Robot activated his stilt legs, elevating himself above the battlefield, and unleashed a barrage of gunfire, wiping out the entire squadron of German soldiers. The display of efficiency and firepower left Sgt. Rock and his team stunned.[1]
Cheers to the Tin Man[]
Following their successful battle, the members of Easy Company gathered at a local pub to celebrate. Little Sure Shot and Bulldozer enthusiastically praised G.I. Robot’s exploits during the fight. A drunken Bulldozer declared that, despite being made of metal, G.I. was just as much a member of their company as any of them. Raising a toast to him, the rest of the soldiers joined in, prompting G.I. Robot to smile happily in appreciation.[1]
