The Evergreen Corrections Center was a prison facility located inside the Evergreen Police Department, where Auggie Smith was incarcerated after his son, Christopher Smith murdered Annie Sturphausen and John Economos framed him by changing the Peace-Mobile fingerprints to avoid Christopher's arrest. Inside the facility, Augie was praised by other white supremacist inmates as the "White Dragon."[1] Adrian Chase forced his arrest at the facility in an attempt to kill Auggie Smith, fighting off the Aryans but failing, and was later released by John Economos.[2]
After discovering he was framed, Auggie Smith went with Detectives Sophie Song and Larry Fitzgibbon to prove his innocence through fingerprints.[3] Smith was able to get out of prison, and the Evergreen Police Department station was later attacked by Sophie Song, possessed by Queen Eek Stack Ik Ik, where several alien butterflies that began to infect both officers and prisoners at the Corrections Center, killing them.[4]
Chris Smith's Incarceration[]
After surrendering to A.R.G.U.S. and handing over the Quantum Unfolding Chamber Access Device to Rick Flag, Sr.,[5] Peacemaker was detained and arrested at Evergreen Corrections Center, leaving Eagly in the care of John Economos. In his cell, Smith was visited by security guard Durwitz, who brought him a visitor list, which Smith refused to see. Later, Durwitz informed Smith that he had been released on bail, confusing him. Smith asked who had paid his bail, and Durwitz revealed it was Leota Adebayo. Smith tried to refuse to leave, but Durwitz told him it didn't work that way and released him anyway.[6]
