The Green Lantern Corps are an intergalactic peacekeeping organization comprised of beings selected across the universe dubbed Green Lanterns, serving as intergalactic law enforcement governing the various space sectors of the galaxy, including the space sector containing Earth. The only known human Green Lantern, Guy Gardner, was killed by Ilana Rostovic and her forces.

A Twisted Vision[]
In a dark potential future, Princess Ilana Rostovic along with her Amethyst Knights conquered Earth and transformed it into an apocalyptic wasteland. A massive conflict began between the superheroes and Rostovic's forces, but Guy Gardner somehow died in the process. During Amanda Waller's encounter with Circe, she showed the disturbing vision of Gardner impaled by Rostovic, and the impaled bodies of various other heroes.[1]
