Kendra Saunders was a winged warrior known as Hawkgirl who used melee weapons in combat and lost her life battling the forces of Gorilla Grodd and Princess Ilana Rostovic.

A Twisted Vision[]
Princess Ilana Rostovic, along with her Amethyst Knights, conquered Earth and transformed it into an apocalyptic wasteland. A massive conflict began between the heroes and Rostovic, but Hawkgirl died in the process. In a vision given by Circe to Amanda Waller, Waller saw Hawkgirl impaled by Princess Rostovic alongside several other superheroes.[1]

- Hawksuit: Hawkgirl wore her special suit to combat the Amethyst Knights, before being killed in the process.
