Henenlotter Video is an abandoned video store located in Evergreen, Washington, that served as the headquarters of the 11th Street Kids during the Butterfly Invasion.
History[]
Butterfly Invasion[]
To deal with the Butterfly threat in Evergreen, "Clemson Murn" rented the former Henenlotter Video store as his team's headquarters, which they moved into after recruiting Peacemaker.[1] Following the rescue of the apartment complex, Smith, Harcourt, and Adebayo returned to Henenlotter Video, where the team disagreed over who could be a Butterfly, believing one of the team to be the snitch and briefly blaming each other.[2] After the attack on Royland Goff, and Vigilante joining the operation, the team returned to base to investigate what they found while "Murn" berated Smith for not killing "Goff's" children.
Judomaster, who had been captured by the team, awoke in Henenlotter Video and attempted to flee before being apprehended by Smith and Adebayo. In the shop's living room, "Murn" scolded Harcourt, Economos, and Adebayo for allowing Vigilante's arrest, whom Economos took it upon himself to free. After discovering a connection between the Glan Tai Bottling Company and the Butterflies,[3] the team met at Henenlotter Video to receive their mission to travel to Glan Tai. Once they completed their mission, the team, now known as the 11th Street Kids, returned to base, received the night off, and began celebrating their new friendship.
After betraying Smith, Leota Adebayo returned to Henenlotter Video to have fun with Smith's x-ray helmet as she couldn't sleep. However, she eventually discovered that "Murn" was a butterfly and attempted to flee,[4] but realized that he was out to stop his own kind, telling her the truth. Once Smith and Chase escaped from the police, the reunited team realized that the Butterflies' Cow remained beneath Coverdale Ranch, deciding they should check it out. That night, Emilia Harcourt carved a peace dove into a Peacemaker gun, and Smith told her of his desire to be a better person. They began to get along, and Smith played a piano at the base.
When the Butterflies, disguised as police officers, had framed Smith for several crimes in his alleged diary,[5] Smith left Henenlotter Video to kill the Cow, accompanied by Adrian Chase, John Economos, and Eagly.[6] Following the Battle at Coverdale Ranch, Leota Adebayo went to the old base to reveal the truth about Task Force X, Project Butterfly, and the secret plans of her mother, Amanda Waller.[7]
