―Assassin and Peacemaker[src]

The Hunt for the Kidnappees was a hunt organized by the League of Assassins as part of their annual kidnapping to murder Peacemaker and the passengers of the flight to Alaska for sport.

"Once a year, we kidnap a plane full of people, and we hunt them. For sport."
―Assassin to Peacemaker[src]

After making her reveal that she worked for the League of Assassins, Chris Smith forced the assassin to confess why she was after them, offering not to hand her over to Eagly as bait in exchange for the truth, and she admitted that the League of Assassins hijacked a plane every year to hunt its passengers for fun, but Smith smashed her face in. Peacemaker grumbled about getting blood on his soles, which disgusted Ally, scolding him for cracking jokes during such a grim moment. As Margaret and Matt cried, begging to go home, Smith tried to keep it together, promising he’d protect them, but made it clear they had to do exactly what he said.[1]

"You know, anal is underrated... I mean it's not for everyone. But if it's a clean color, why not?"
Peacemaker[src]

Suddenly, Eagly flew toward an incoming assassin, prompting Smith to yell for everyone to hit the ground, but an arrow flew and struck Margaret in the head, horrifying Matt, while Smith snapped at them for not ducking like he told them, Eagly tried to save Matt by grabbing him, but he got hit by arrows mid-air. Peacemaker ordered Eagly to go after the assassin, but the bird didn’t listen at first, driving him crazy, but he then obeyed, ripping the assassin's face off. Smith caught the chunk Eagly tossed and scolded the rest of the group for not lifting a finger to help, but the others insisted they didn’t know how to fight—or didn’t believe in violence.

Smith then asked them all to strip, freaking them out, except for Ben, who eagerly agreed. Kris asked why, and Smith said it would distract the assassins long enough for him and Eagly to take them down, but Ally was irritated and told him it was a terrible plan. However, when Smith suggested heading to the mountains to find a defensible position, Eagly suddenly screeched and flew ahead, signaling them to follow, which Peacemaker saw it as a good idea. Following Eagly's lead, Smith began to rush his fellows as he wanted to set traps, but wasn’t sure how to phrase it “politically correct,” which pissed Ally off, while Ben admired Smith even more.

Kris asked if he was really a superhero, but Smith shut him down by calling him “other Chris,” which bothered him, and unbeknownst to them, they were being followed by an assassin. While climbing a rock face, Peacemaker spotted two assassins below and took the chance to attack, dropping a big rock on one, crushing him, then jumped down and kicked the other, grabbing the second assassin and slammed him repeatedly against the rocks, ranting about how anal sex was underrated, crushing the assassin’s skull, leaving Izzy in shock at the exposed brain.

Turning to Ally, Smith casually asked if she’d ever pegged someone, then followed it up by asking if any of them would be down for sex to thank him for saving their lives, disgusting Ally, while Ben happily volunteered, which annoyed Smith, who wanted to rile them up rather than a volunteer. While counting how many assassins were left, Chris Smith was caught off guard when one drove a katana straight through his back, leaving him reeling in pain.[1]
