James Francis Gunn Jr. (born August 5, 1966) is an American filmmaker, actor, novelist, and musician. He is also currently serving as co-chairman and co-CEO of DC Studios alongside Peter Safran since November 2022. He wrote Peacemaker, directing five of its eight episodes, and wrote Creature Commandos. he is also writing and directing the upcoming Superman.
He will also produce Waller, Lanterns, The Authority, Paradise Lost, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Booster Gold, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, Swamp Thing, Teen Titans and Blue Beetle.[1]
He also served as a story consultant for Peacemaker Presents: The Vigilante/Eagly Double-Feature.[2]
