Discussing G.I. Robot[]
During the 1960s, General King attented a television publicity show guesting G.I. Robot, despite claiming that the robot has not been programmed for this kind of tour. His concerns were confirmed when the robot started to look for any Nazis in the audience, creating an unease feeling. During the show, he discussed with robotist Will Magnus the possibility of giving him G.I. Robot for his research, the government having no more use of him following the end of the war.[1]
