Nanaue, also known as King Shark, is a anthropomorphic shark criminal who was held captive at Belle Reve Correctional Center, who was eventually recruited into Task Force M.

King Shark was eventually arrested and brought to Belle Reve Correctional Center, where he was held in the non-human internment division due to his amphibious nature,[1] and he was eventually brought into a room alongside various other non-human prisoners to be recruited as part of the new Task Force M lineup, where he met The Bride, mocking her haircut.[1]

- Shark/Meta-human Physiology: Nanaue is an amphibious, shark-like metahuman. He has the physical attributes of a human, such as speech and being bipedal, as well as a shark, such as superhuman physicality and aquatic respiration.

- In the comics, Nanaue is a human-shark hybrid whose shark-like features were natural and came from his father, the Shark God Chondrakha. He eventually became a supervillain named King Shark and an enemy to Superboy and Aquaman. He is an adaptation of Nanaue, the demigod son of the shark god Kāmohoaliʻi from Hawaiian mythology.
