The League of Assassins is an elite organization of assassins.

Kidnapping of Peacemaker[]

The League of Assassins hijacked a plane to murder its passengers for fun every year.[1] They set out to hijack the plane that Peacemaker was about to take to Alaska, after Smith boarded the plane to travel to his destination, a member of the organization hijacked the plane and spread a toxic gas began throughout the plane, startling the passengers. Once Smith was overwhelmed by the gas, the hijacker wearing a mask arrived in the cabin and called their contact to inform them that the target had been located and that phase two could proceed.[2]

The League of Assassins took control of the plane and left its passengers stranded in the middle of a forest. As the passengers began to wake up from the fainting, they wondered what had happened, so the pilot tried to attract the attention of the passengers to ask them to calm down, but suddenly he was shot in the head by a member of League of Assassins from the branch of a tree, starting a shooting against the passengers. While Smith ordered everyone to be covered, he asked Eagly to fly to the shooter, making him fall from the tree in which he hid. Smith held him holding his head to talk about his absolute oath of peace, before breaking his neck, which left the crew stunned.
Peacemaker is attacked by another assassin
The crew had a time to realize that they had been taken to the forest by the assassins, and that since they were sure they had to seek refuge. Suddenly, an assassins with a katana attacked Smith taking him by surprise, but he defended himself stopping the sword with his hand while reproaching her having ruined his vacation. The assassin however continued attacking Smith, to which Eagly removed her mask, Smith began to be enraged by the blows and returned them with more force, beating her to defeat her, however, when he was about to kill her, Izzy stopped him, as they needed to know what was happening. Smith agreed and threatened the assassin to force her to confess; the assassin revealed that she worked for the League of Assassins and was hunting Smith, threatening to kill them all.[2]

Peacemaker forced the assassin to confess why they were hunting them in exchange for not using her as bait for Eagly, and she revealed that they had hijacked the plane to kill them for fun, before Smith smashed her face in. However, Eagly flew into an approaching assassin, prompting Smith to yell at his fellows to duck. Margaret was riddled with arrows in the forehead by the assassin, and Eagly carried Matt in an attempt to save him, only to be hit by three arrows. Eagly then lunged at the assassin with the bow and arrow, savagely tearing his face off.

When Eagly set up a safe path into the mountains that they followed, an assassin followed them without them knowing. While climbing a rock face, Peacemaker saw two assassins passing below, so he surprised them by throwing a large rock at one, crushing him, and then successfully kicking the other in the back, bashing his head against a rock until he died. However, Smith was briefly distracted, allowing an assassin to sneak up on him by impaling him in the back with his katana, which everyone watched in horror.[1]
