• In the comics, the corporation owned by Lex Luthor is known as LexCorp. The first prominent instance of the alternate name LuthorCorp was in the 2001 series Smallville and again featured in Superman & Lois.
• LuthorCorp were the sponsors of Metropolis Meteors.

Behind the Scenes

• James Gunn chose to name the company LuthorCorp instead of LexCorp due to his growing up a fan of Smallville and finding the name to be more believable.
