Evacuation of the S.T.A.R. Labs Facility[]
Following an experiment on the 14th floor of the S.T.A.R. Labs facility that had spiraled out of control and ended in a fire, the Metropolis Fire Department rushed to the labs, managing to evacuate everyone except for the top floor, where the fire was contained. A fire truck rushing to the labs swerved and nearly crashed into civilians and dogs in Centennial Park, but Superman stopped it, preventing a tragic disaster, hearing with his super hearing an explosion coming from S.T.A.R. Labs.
Superman drove the fire truck to the fire scene, where firefighters were gathered, and when he asked Chief Farrell how he could help, she briefed him on the situation. Since the firefighter's ladder didn't reach the top floor, Superman and Krypto took it upon themselves to rescue the scientists and Matty, their dog, using their super breath to put out the blaze.[1]
