The Pokolistan Royal Family is the ruling royal family of the underdeveloped Eastern European nation of Pokolistan. While the de jure leader is the Queen of Pokolistan, her daughter Princess Ilana Rostovic is the acting ruler. They are protected by the Amethyst Knights.

For generations, the Pokolistan Royal Family ruled the nation of Pokolistan, whose portraits hung in the halls of the main hall of Poko Castle. By the 2020s, the Queen of Pokolistan had begun to lose her mental faculties, so the responsibilities of government fell to Princess Ilana Rostovic.[1]
Ilana Rostovic's Rise to Power[]

Frustrated by the country's old ways, Rostovic took a new direction, beginning to negotiate an oil alliance with the United States in exchange for protection.[1] Despite projecting a charming image in public, Ilana Rostovic was actually a narcissistic, power-hungry, and sadistic individual who began using her power to plot a global conquest with which to sow chaos and destruction.
The sorceress Circe predicted Rostovic's intentions as a ruthless conqueror, so she mobilized the Sons of Themyscira to invade Pokolistan and overthrow the royal family, promising to bring them all to Themyscira. Following the incidents caused by Circe, Rostovic enlisted the help of the American government agency A.R.G.U.S., which sent a task force to protect her.[2]

Ilana Rostovic gains Rick Flag, Sr.’s trust

Rostovic began plotting to seduce the team's leader, Rick Flag, Sr., to manipulate him into killing Circe, but also to unwittingly warn him of an assassination attempt should her plan fail and her plots be revealed.[2] Despite having gained Flag's trust, Rostovic was taken by surprise by Circe and her forces, who ambushed Poko Castle. Rostovic attempted to escape from the Sons, but Circe managed to corner her. However, just as she was about to kill her, the Creature Commandos arrived to defeat her and take her prisoner.[3]
Prevention of the Pokolistani Conquest[]

Before the Commandos left for Belle Reve, Rostovic suggested to Rick Flag, Sr. that they kill Circe, but he refused. Worried that Circe might reveal her plan, Rostovic sent Sergei to spy on the team. Sergei discovered Professor Aisla MacPherson confirm Circe's clairvoyant abilities, convincing Amanda Waller to send the Commandos to kill the princess. Rostovic then hired Clayface to assassinate and impersonate MacPherson, pretending to have been hired by Circe to entice Waller, as well as to deceive Flag into suspecting that the MacPherson he had met was a fraud.
Ilana Rostovic mobilizes her army
After manipulating Flag into finding the clues and alerting her that the Creature Commandos were coming to kill her, Rostovic ruthlessly ordered Sergei to kill the team as soon as he found them, mobilizing the Amethyst Knights to protect her. While Rotovic was swimming, the commandos arrived at Poko Castle and planned to ambush Rostovic, but this failed because Weasel, suffering from PTSD, warned Rostovic of Nina Mazursky's ambush, allowing him to defend himself and kill Mazursky.
Ilana Rostovic is shot and killed by the Bride
Rostovic then met with the Bride and attempted to manipulate her into believing he was innocent, but the Bride confessed that she knew of his plans and that she would kill Rostovic not to save the world, but to avenge her only friend. Rostovic attempted to shoot the Bride with a concealed weapon, but the Bride shot him in the head first, killing the princess, avenging Nina Mazursky, and preventing a dark future.[2]
