Evacuation of the S.T.A.R. Labs Facility[]
The scientists at S.T.A.R. Labs were working on the 14th floor of the Metropolis facility until a fire spiraled out of control. The Metropolis Fire Department rushed to the labs and managed to evacuate all floors except the top floor, where the fire was contained. Superman heard an explosion coming from S.T.A.R. Labs with his super hearing and flew to the fire, where Chief Farrell briefed him on the situation.
Since the firefighter's ladder didn't reach the top floor, Krypto and Superman took charge of rescuing the two scientists trapped on the 14th floor, as well as Matty, their service dog, whom they lifted to the ground. An hour after using their super breath to put out the fire, Krypto and Superman took Matty and the scientist owner to the park to relax after a stressful afternoon.[1]
