The Sartorius Residence was the home of Alex Sartorius, Parvin Sartorius, and their daughter.
History[]
After graduating as a renowned nuclear scientist, Sartorius married Parvin, and together they bought a house in Gotham City. Sartorius and Parvin conceived a son, with whom Sartorius often played in the yard, tossing him through the air to pretend he was flying. Sartorius began working on a nuclear experiment that would reverse cancer without harming the patient, but lacking funding, he was forced to make a deal with mobster Rupert Thorne, agreeing to deliver the results of the experiment to Bialya's scientists. However, this worried Parvin, who confronted her husband about having to deliver results to an oppressive regime, questioning if there was any other way, leading Sartorius to decide to submit false results.
However, Thorne was informed about the deception, and he and his gang headed to Sartorius's home, where they brutally murdered Parvin and his son as punishment. Upon returning home, Sartorius watched in horror as his family was murdered, breaking down in tears as Thorne taunted him, before two henchmen pressed a knife into his hand to frame him. Sartorius was then kidnapped by Thorne and taken to a van to be personally punished in his own laboratory, where he was incinerated in his nuclear chamber in an attempt to kill him, unaware that he managed to survive, being transformed into a metahuman as a radioactive skeleton, seeking revenge against Thorne.[1]
