After Task Force M arrived in Pokolistan, the team went out to the courtyard to relax, where Sergei shared laughs with Bride and Alexi and drank beer.[2] Following Circe's capture by the Creature Commandos, concerned that Circe might expose her scheme, Ilana Rostovic dispatched Sergei to spy on the team in Belle Reve. During which, Sergei witnessed the arrival of Professor Aisla MacPherson, who appeared to confirm Circe’s clairvoyant powers.[3]

After returning to Pokolistan, the Amethyst Knights were informed of Task Force M's intentions to assassinate Princess Ilana Rostovic, with Sergei participating in their ambush until the team fled, losing sight of them. Sergei then returned to Poko Castle where he informed Rostovic of the situation, expressing that he did not believe they posed a danger on their own. Rostovic saw Task Force M's betrayal as tragic but since they had no choice, Rostovic remorselessly ordered Sergei to kill the team when they found them, which Sergei promised to do.[4]
Protecting the Princess[]

At night, Sergei gathered the Amethyst Knights in the castle ready to resist the attack of the Creature Commandos. Sergei took the opportunity to express to Rostovic that he found it strange that her former allies were trying to kill her, but she said that they were being manipulated by Circe. Sergei then suggested to Rostovic that she hide in the bunker, but she insisted on killing the team. The next morning, Sergei ordered the knights to line up, supervising that they activate their weapons ready to protect the princess while she watched from a balcony.[5]

Sergei later spoke to the guard overseeing the tower via comlink to ask if he had seen the Creature Commandos, but as he had not yet witnessed anything, Sergei asked him to remain on alert. Sergei and the Knights then heard a gunfire from a distance, but were unsuspecting. The Amethyst Knights later had to guard the courtyard after Ilana Rostovic set out to swim in the lake, and after ordering the knights to line up, Sergei advised her not to go swimming, but Rostovic decided to swim anyway as she felt safe, seeing not swimming as a bad example for her people, making Sergei uncomfortable as it was only her and the guards there, and was going to say something to her but retracted.[3]

Waiting inside the castle, a guard relayed a call from Amanda Waller to Sergei, who apologized for sending the Creature Commandos to kill Rostovic, asking to speak to Bride. As they were about to kill Rostovic in the water, Ilana killed Nina Mazursky, revealing the Commandos' presence and the Knights' aim at them, but Sergei arrived to ask them to lower their weapons and brought the comlink to Bride. Inside the castle, Sergei and his teammates congratulated Weasel for alerting the princess, promising to build a monument in his honor while petting him. Unbeknownst to Sergei, Bride killed the princess during an encounter in her room, before watching the Commandos leave.[3]

- Bilinguism: Sergei is fluent in both his native Pokolistani and English.
Equipment[]
- Amethyst Knight Armor: When on duty, Sergei wears an Amethyst Knight armor, to help him defend the Pokolistan Royal Family from threats, especially metahuman or magical. The armor seems pratical and manageable as he can easily run with it without feeling stuffy. The armor's forearm hides a retractable canon used to shoot enemies. Despite their imposing shape, the armor doesn't seem fully bulletproof as numerous guards were shot through it by the Sons of Themyscira, despite the latters carrying classic guns.
