The Skirmish at Can-Can was a fight between Bride of Frankenstein and Paddy Craic and Brian Craic at the Can-Can brothel to protect a sex worker.

After receiving the order from Amanda Waller to kill Ilana Rostovic and having placed Bride as leader, Task Force M returned to Pokolistan under the excuse of having been alerted of a threat against the princess, however, as they were being escorted by Alexi to Poko Castle, Rick Flag, Sr. alerted Rostovic that the team was going to kill her. Alexi received the news and changed routes under the pretext of avoiding traffic to stop in an alley where they were ambushed by the Amethyst Knights, and after a battle, each team member fled separately to hide.[2]
Bride hides from the Amethyst Knights
At night, Nina met up with Bride, but sensing the Amethyst Knights approaching, they both entered the Can-Can brothel which was in front of them. Bride threatened the brothel owner, Madame Gyurov, not to give them away, hiding in the curtains when the gentlemen knocked on the door. Once they left, Bride saw that the gentlemen were still outside, so they both had to stay.[3]

While Bride was arguing about sex work with Gyurov, two men knocked on the door of the brothel and so as not to arouse suspicion, Bride, Nina and Guyrov hid behind the curtains, with Bride becoming indignant to discover that they were thirsty for sex. However, the trio soon heard the employee's cries of despair from the roof, who climbed up into the room to see what was going on. Madame Gyurov discovered that her employee was being verbally and physically abused by the metahuman Paddy Craic, prompting Nina to hit him with a glass bottle.
Brian Craic is shot in the head by Bride
Paddy Craic was enraged by Nina's attack and asked his brother Brian Craic to help him kill everyone in the brothel, but when Brian reluctantly prepared to use his powers, Bride shot him in the head. Paddy exploded in anger at Bride and slammed her into a wall, destroying it in the process, but she got up and took off her jacket to fight back, slamming him in the face against a bookshelf. Craic tried to hit her with a wooden penis, but Bride ripped his arm off, making him scream in pain and try to shoot a lightning bolt with his other hand, but Bride finally pierced his chest, ripping out his heart, taunting him and then exploding it, killing him instantly.[3]

Upon killing Paddy Craic, Gyurov was surprised by Bride's temper and asked Nina if that was normal for her, which she assured her. As they left the brothel, the victim employee came to the door to thank Bride for saving her, but Bride didn't mind, and Nina was glad to see Bride soften, seeing her as a friend, which made Bride uncomfortable, making Nina laugh.[3]
