Superman: A Friendship Unleashed is a tie-in comic to Superman sponsored by Milk-Bone. The comic came as part of a Milk-Bone dog biscuits bundle and was released on DC Universe Infinite on May 12, 2025.
Synopsis[]
A day of play for Superman and Krypto is interrupted by a crisis at S.T.A.R. Labs! While Krypto wrangles panicked dogs gone wild and Superman rescues endangered scientists, the superdog and his best friend must work together to save the day.[1]
Plot[]
Superman goes up into the atmosphere to deflect space debris and takes the opportunity to play fetch with Krypto by throwing a meteor at him. Superman then returns to Metropolis and takes Krypto to Centennial Park to socialize with other dogs, reminding him to behave responsibly. There they meet Curt and his dog Otto, but an out-of-control ambulance interrupts the calm. Superman stops it just in time and heads to tend to an explosion at S.T.A.R. Labs, while Krypto helps control the frightened dogs.
At the lab facility, Superman rescues two scientists trapped on the 14th floor using his powers, and puts out the fire with his super-breath. One of the scientists is worried about his dog Matty, but Krypto also rescues her. After the emergency, Superman and Krypto take the scientist and Matty to the park to relax after a hectic day.
