The Bride of Frankenstein comes to life
On a stormy night in 1831, at Frankenstein Manor, mad scientist Doctor Victor Frankenstein faces mounting pressure from his creation, Eric Frankenstein, to craft a "mate" for him. Reluctant to repeat his earlier experiment but unable to refuse, Victor ultimately succeeds in bringing a "Bride" to life. However, the newly awakened woman panics upon seeing Eric, her confusion fueling his heartbreak. Over the following weeks, Victor takes on the task of teaching the Bride to speak, much to Eric's frustration. One night, after yet another failed attempt to win her affection, Eric violently confronts Victor in a fit of jealousy and anger, chastising him for the Bride's rejection before storming off in tears.

Victor Frankenstein is killed by Eric Frankenstein
As Victor continues to guide and teach the Bride, their relationship evolves into a romantic affair, culminating in Victor gifting her a Tourmaline Necklace as a token of his love. One fateful night, Eric witnesses Victor and the Bride in an intimate moment on the operation table. Consumed by rage and jealousy, Eric resolves to eliminate the obstacle between him and the Bride. Taking advantage of her absence, he murders Victor in cold blood. When the Bride discovers Victor's mutilated body, she engages in a violent fight with Eric. After overpowering him, she deserts the manor, accidentally setting it ablaze as she flees, though she loses her necklace in the chaos. In the centuries that follow, Eric relentlessly chases after the Bride, determined to win her love by any means necessary. Despite his persistence, she manages to outwit and defeat him in most of their encounters.

Ilana Rostovic attempts to seduce Rick Flag, Sr.
In the present day, after sustaining injuries in his earlier duel with Doctor Phosphorus, Rick Flag Sr. is tended to by Princess Ilana. Their interaction soon escalates into an intimate encounter, overheard by the rest of the team from behind closed doors. Moments later, Alexi arrives to report the disappearance of the Bride and Nina Mazursky. However, Phosphorus sarcastically insists Alexi to give him a full minute, until Flag and Ilana finish their “business.” Once the situation is resolved, Flag berates Phosphorus for delaying the news and orders Alexi to drive the team to the missing members’ location.

Bride and Nina Mazursky lay defeated
At Frankenstein Manor, the Bride and Nina retrieve the tourmaline necklace, stirring painful memories of the Bride's creation and her troubled past with Eric Frankenstein. Their mission is interrupted by an attack from Circe and the Sons of Themyscira.
