Waller is an upcoming American superhero web television series, based on the DC Comics character of the same name. It will be an installment of Chapter One: Gods and Monsters in the DC Universe, and serves as a follow-up to Peacemaker. The series is produced by DC Studios and will be released on Max.

A live action series, the spinoff of Peacemaker, centered around Amanda Waller and her relationship with her daughter, Leota. If there's one government bureaucrat who shouldn't be messed with, it’s Amanda Waller, founder of the infamous Task Force X, better known as the Suicide Squad.[3]

On May 3, 2022, Deadline reported that the series would be about Amanda Waller, with Viola Davis in talks to reprise her role and executive produce. Peter Safran would also serve as executive producer, while Christal Henry would write.[5]

On January 31, 2023, James Gunn announced that the series was named Waller, as part of the projects of Chapter One: Gods and Monsters in the DC Universe, along with the revelation that Jeremy Carver would also write,[1] scheduled to be released in 2024.[6]

On March 10, 2024, James Gunn revealed that production was delayed by 2023 Hollywood strikes and was rescheduled to be released after the second season of Peacemaker.[7]
