Shapiro and the Easy Company take a photograph after their triumph
During World War II, Harold Shapiro enlisted in the United States Army and was placed in Easy Company, under the leadership of Sergeant Franklin Rock, where he was nicknamed "Wildman" by his fellow soldiers. In 1943, Wildman and the team were investigating in a forest, accompanied by the newly manufactured G.I. Robot, however, Little Sure Shot alerted the presence of Nazis, so they took cover and began to fight back, and after hiding behind a tree, Wildman threw a grenade at them, until G.I. began to massacre all the Nazis, saving his comrades, impressing the team, who proceeded to take a photo with him. Easy Company then went to a bar to celebrate their triumph, where the entire team cheered G.I. on, making him happy. In the next few missions, Wildman and the Company formed a friendly bond with G.I. before the culmination of the war, going their separate ways.[1]
