- "She's not human?"
"Is a corpse human?" - ―Rick Flag, Sr. and Amanda Waller[src]
Zombies are reanimated human corpses resurrected back to life through either magical or scientific means.
History[]
In the 1800s, the mad scientist Victor Frankenstein illegally dug up bodies and stitched them together to make a undead creature that would later become known as Eric Frankenstein. Eric told Victor that as his creator, he owed him some happiness, and promised that if he made him a Bride, he wouldn't kill his wife, so Victor agreed. However, the Bride rejected Eric and eventually had a affair with her creator, leading Eric to kill Victor in a jealousy rage. The Bride ran away and Eric began chasing her through the centuries.[1]
At some point, the Bride was incarcerated at Belle Reve Correctional Center's non-human division, where she would be recruited to be part of the Creature Commandos.[2] After the Prevention of the Pokolistani Conquest, the Bride met another zombie who was part of the new lineup of the Commandos, the mummy Hetepkheti Tefnakhte, also known as Khalis.[3]
